Why can’t I forget about you? Why can’t I move on?
Why can’t I say goodby_
—♬ So Rin knew a bit of background information on this model, but something was blocking access to more detailed information. She presumed it to be a bug since she had been acting up earlier as well. The vocals from her own voice were found in the replica, making Rin gape in astonishment. If it weren’t for the Russian attire, they could be physical clones. Surrounded in thoughts of wonder, Rin almost felt the need to explain her mismatched clothing and voice, her hope to get a home since her old one was annihilated by the town. This was confidential information for the moment, so Rin ignored the fact and responded with a nod to the girl’s inquiries.
“Oh, that’s right. No fancy updates. No human-striving vocals. Originality.” She muttered, drawing a smile to her complexion. “Sticking together …?” The thought was tempting. So tempting that Rin had lost any hesitant behavior prior to. “That’s … exactly what I need, mmf —!” She drew herself closer with that exclamation.
— ☆ Being outdated. The sacrifice of stability and quality for…what, exactly? Not that she would (or could) have it any other way. She felt a sort of connection with the other, if only because they were of the same model. A smile drew on her lips, though she tilted her head as the other muffled her own speech. What she needed? As the student council president, she always took it upon herself to help her fellow students. Whether that was as a whole or individually, it didn’t much matter. She was feeling a similar instinct here.
“Is something wrong, nya? If anything’s bugging you, just say the words and I’ll go at it with my gun.” The ultimate solution to any problem.

—♬ PuuRin? That’s what her receptors were telling her, though the appearance looked much like her own. Rin cleared her throat and felt her cheeks heat up with a rosy gloss. Fists clenched by lower fabrics and lips quavering in response. She was so hesitant to speak, but there wasn’t much else she could do now, she was spotted! Ashamed of having the second upgraded attire on with a mismatched voice, Rin braced for the other’s disappointment. “Rin?” She choked out, leaving off the idea she was that model that had business in Russia and was intertwined with Putin. Her files knew almost every copy of her out there and a dip into their backgrounds and personalities. “Mm, it’s nice to see a familiar face around here.” She giggled sheepishly, producing a smile.
— ☆ Oh, a fellow Rin model. She did enjoy seeing others. But, ahh, what’s this? Scanning, scanning… Was this…an Act1 model? The uniform didn’t quite match, yes, but the core version said it all. Her eyes widened a little, lips parted in the usual surprised look. “Sure, nya.” She didn’t mention just how many other Rin models she had met, or even the human ones, strange as they were. She also didn’t mention anything about her being a custom order, not quite your run-of-the-mill Act1 鏡音リン. It was nice to have company for once, actually, even if the person in question was herself. It’d been a while.
“We Rins’ve gotta stick together, right? ‘Specially, well, those of us that aren’t exactly state of the art.”
° » | What was he doing? She was quite the trifle to deal with. Offering herself up without knowing what she was offering. Naive, innocent, adorable… The only three adjectives that described her.
° » > “A-Ahh…”
° » | But he couldn’t pull through with this. Could he? Pressing one last kiss to her collarbone, he settled down, curling his legs up carefully; as to not hurt her. Resting his chest on her shoulder, he blushed again, closing his eyes.
She tilted her head. Why the sudden change of attitude? Her cheeks were still warm, inner parts humming and whirring. But he was backing off…? Why? Her hand rose to touch the back of his head, stroking and petting gently without quite knowing the reason for it. “What’s wrong?” she spoke almost melodically, as if her voice was made of plastic.
» » “You love me, huh? Nee, dog? Or are you just going to run with your tail between your legs again?”
° » | Red eyes. She was back. Or so it seemed. He would be honest, and not give one lie to her. Why should he? He loved her, after all.
° » > “Of course I do. I’m not going to run away ever again. I swear. I promise you I won’t. My last promise had nothing to back it… This time, it does.”
° » | He looked at her red eyes with his azure ones, completely serious. She wanted the truth, he’d give it.
“Where’s your proof? How am I supposed to believe in something when I’ve only been given words? Time and time again, you’ve run, so how am I to expect any different? Stupid mutt.”
Harsh? Maybe a little. She was still rather bitter about the whole ordeal. After being led along on a string for that long, it was only to be expected. She hissed, a cold smile upon her face.
— “Don’t start fucking with her feelings too.”
° » | He continued to hold her. As E M P T Y as she was, she was perfectly for to mold to his body, his arms clinging to her as if he’d die without her.
° » > “I don’t care if there’s nothing left in your memory banks. I don’t care if you’ll never be the same again. But Rin Kagamine, god dammit, I love you.”
° » | A few tears dripped down. Len refused to let go. He would never hurt her again, until his last day…
Such strong words, weren’t they? So sure of himself and so confident in his voice. But he was still a dog, wasn’t he? A mutt. A grin rose upon her lips, finding it almost funny, and her eyes opened.
“You love me, huh? Nee, dog? Or are you just going to run with your tail between your legs again?”
° » | Ahh, she’s blushing. That was different… She was embarrassed, wasn’t she? Well, he was too. Gently letting go of her waist, he leaned in and kissed along her jawline, his own face just as pink.
° » | Ahh, was he ever sorry for this. But she had not only tempted him, but given him her body to ravish. Instead of becoming a race to finish himself off, he wanted to make her feel good.
° » | Such was young love. Soft pink finding porcelain silk, he nipped and kissed the expanse of neck, making sure to leave small, reddish bruises; not enough to be too noticeable, but just enough to make her his.
His lips pressed against her jaw and neck, warm as they were, and she felt him nip and suck at the otherwise baby-soft skin. あぁ〜ん, what was this? Foreign feelings were blossoming inside of her. She expected errors, process failures, but none of the familiar beeps or clicks greeted her. Instead, a hum. Her fans powering up, trying to cool her hardware down.
twindrills wants to play hide and seek
— ☆ Such a bright, bright red! Or was it pink? She was never all that great with colors. A tilt of the head. Processing, processing… Ah! Instantly, a big grin swept across her face. Whoever this girl was, she was probably really good at hide and seek! The blonde giggled and swept behind a dumpster, not at all troubled by the dirty urban atmosphere.
